Negotiation Training in English 1

Level:

The level of English required to attend the course is approximately 5 years school English ( to “mittlere Reife” or SIEMENS level 3/4) and all participants must complete a test to ensure that their level is appropriate for the course.

Contents:

  • basic negotiating vocabulary

  • essential language skills

  • writing an R.F.Q. / Offer

  • analysing offers / R.F.Q.s

  • presentation of results

  • phone calls

  • meeting partners

  • meetings and a simple introduction to negotiation.

A ‘buy/sell’ role game runs the whole length of the course enabling students to put into practice what they have learnt, and is followed by video analysis.

Furthermore some aspects of German, American and Japanese cultures are covered.

Comment:

This 9-day multi-media course is designed for purchasers and sellers who are just starting negotiating in English.
